Community Guidelines

Discussion of public appearances, official duties, public statements, policies, elections, health information publicly released by authorized sources, and credible news reporting is allowed.

Do not post home addresses, private travel plans, live private locations, personal phone numbers, private email addresses, medical records, family details, or other sensitive information that is not clearly part of the lawful public record. Do not encourage surveillance, confrontation, or tracking of a person’s nonpublic movements.

Do not threaten, solicit, celebrate, or facilitate violence or physical harm. Content that creates a credible safety risk may be removed and reported to appropriate authorities. Newsworthy discussion of threats or violence must not promote or operationalize harm.

Criticize public conduct and political positions without organizing harassment, bullying individuals, repeatedly targeting private persons, or encouraging unwanted contact. Slurs, dehumanization, and attacks based on protected or vulnerable identity are prohibited.

Profanity and harsh political opinion are not automatically violations, but context, repetition, targeting, and real-world risk matter.

Provide direct or reliable source links for factual claims when reasonably possible. Do not alter headlines or media in a way that materially misrepresents the source. Clearly label opinion, parody, satire, old footage, reenactments, and unconfirmed reports.

Do not present manipulated, synthetic, or AI-generated media as authentic. Corrections should be made promptly when credible contrary information becomes available.

Only upload material you have the right to share. Do not post intimate imagery, unlawfully recorded content, stolen private material, or content that violates copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights. Images and videos should add legitimate context; videos may not exceed 60 seconds.

Do not manipulate votes, coordinate deceptive engagement, operate undisclosed sockpuppet accounts, impersonate others, spam, flood discussions, use bots without permission, or offer compensation for votes or comments. Disclose material affiliations when promoting an organization, campaign, product, or cause.

Do not use the service to buy, sell, solicit, or facilitate illegal goods, weapons, controlled substances, stolen information, fraud, hacking, exploitation, or other dangerous or unlawful activity.

Use report controls for suspected violations; do not retaliate against reporters or weaponize reporting to silence disagreement. Moderators may remove or label content, limit visibility, lock discussions, restrict features, suspend accounts, or ban users.

Severe violations may result in immediate action. Repeated minor violations, coordinated abuse, or attempts to evade enforcement may receive stronger penalties. Context and public-interest value may be considered, but newsworthiness does not excuse unnecessary harm.
