Privacy Policy
Effective August 3, 2026 · Last updated August 3, 2026
This Policy explains what information the site collects, why it is used, when it may be disclosed, and the choices available to users.
1. Information you provide
Account information may include the email address and display name supplied through the sign-in service. Content information includes posts, comments, votes, source links, reports, images, and videos you choose to submit. Advertising inquiries may include business contact and campaign information.
Posts, comments, usernames or display names, vote totals, uploaded media, and source links may be visible publicly. Do not post information you want to keep private.
2. Information collected automatically
When you use the service, hosting and security systems may process IP address, device and browser details, request timestamps, pages viewed, referring pages, approximate region, diagnostic information, and security events. Authentication systems may use cookies or similar technologies necessary to keep users signed in and protect accounts.
The current ad placeholders do not by themselves perform behavioral advertising. If third-party advertising, measurement, or nonessential tracking is added, this Policy and any required consent controls should be updated before activation.
3. How information is used
- Provide accounts, posts, comments, votes, uploads, search, and other requested features.
- Display public contributions and calculate engagement signals.
- Detect spam, fraud, threats, abuse, unauthorized access, and policy violations.
- Moderate content, respond to reports, enforce rules, and preserve evidence when necessary.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, analyze, and improve the service.
- Comply with law, valid legal process, and safety obligations.
- Manage advertising inventory and advertiser relationships.
4. How information may be shared
Public content is shared with anyone who can access the service. Information may also be processed by hosting, authentication, database, file-storage, security, analytics, moderation, and professional-service providers acting for the operator.
Information may be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law or valid legal process; protect users, the public, rights, property, or service security; investigate abuse; or complete a merger, financing, reorganization, sale, or transfer subject to appropriate protections. We do not state that personal information is sold for money.
5. Retention and deletion
Information is kept for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security and integrity, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, comply with law, and preserve backups. Retention periods may differ by data type and purpose.
Deleting content or an account may remove it from active display, but limited copies may remain in backups, security records, legal records, or content previously copied or shared by others.
6. Your choices and rights
You may choose what to post, avoid uploading media, edit or delete content when controls are available, sign out, and request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of eligible personal information. Applicable law may provide additional rights, including the right to appeal a denied request or opt out of certain processing.
Requests may require identity verification. Some information may be retained where permitted or required by law, for security, or to protect the rights of others.
7. Children
The service is not directed to children under 13, and children under 13 may not use it. If we learn that prohibited child data has been collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
8. Security and international processing
Reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards are used, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Users should protect their sign-in credentials and report suspected compromise.
Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where service providers operate. Those locations may have different data-protection laws from the user’s location.
9. Policy changes
We may revise this Policy as features, providers, law, or practices change. The updated version will show a new effective date, and material changes may receive additional notice.
Use the reporting or account-support controls available on the site. A dedicated legal and privacy contact method will be published before commercial launch.
